Travel Tracker offers a straightforward and efficient solution for documenting daily international travels over extended periods, such as months or years.

Professionals with demanding travel schedules often face the tedious task of combing through diaries and receipts for reporting purposes. This application streamlines that process, saving valuable time.

Originally developed as a custom solution for a specific client, the proven effectiveness of Travel Tracker motivated us to create this standalone application.

One notable client was Richie Faulkner, the lead guitarist of Judas Priest, who requested a user-friendly tool to accurately record his travel data for accountant reporting purposes.

The Travel Tracker operates through three straightforward stages:

Settings

Adding countries is a streamlined process—simply navigate to the "Add Countries" section and select entries from a dropdown menu. You can also specify allowance days for each country and define the start date for your tax year.

Calendar

Inputting travel data is intuitive; swipe to the desired country and select travel days directly on the calendar interface. To modify entries, simply click on the new country and overwrite existing data. A clear function allows for removal of entries, accessible via an erasure button at the top of the screen. A "Today" button provides quick navigation back to the current date.

Reporting

The report feature enables rapid assessment of travel usage against allowances. Select the relevant start date for your report period. The generated report details days spent in each country and displays how many days of allowance remain, if applicable. Reports can be exported in PDF or CSV formats and sent via email or printed directly.
